Hello! I have some news… MIASNOW mainstore was able to stretch out a bit again & play with a bit more prims. i parked a huge building with lots of room for future releases, & i’m busy getting old stuff out too. i’ve been checking prices too & making sure everything is affordable. Still some work to do, like put the male department back out. i will!

I set up 2 Halloween areas. this one is for the Home & Garden items. The there’s another setup in the Avatar Items room…

 

Also, right inside the entrance i set up a super clean, hopefully easy to manage NEWEST ITEMS area. All the areas are clearly defined now. hope shopping is fun again at MIASNOW for you! i like it much better so far myself!

 

Barnabas Gets a Makeover, Free Wall Art

Art by MiaSnow & Trindolyn, Poser Pro & PhotoShop. Created in honor of the new Dark Shadows movie by Tim Burton, for a contest hosted by DeviantART. The challenge was to give Barnabas Collins a makeover, so of course we had to give him a pron stash, disco shirt, & tight fro! Shown here with lovely home items from KOSH. The effects we created by using the MIASNOW Photo FX HUD for a frame, then I used Pixlr to edit it.

Go to Trin’s India Ink Gallery on Twomoons Island, join the subscriber (which is right inside the building entrance) & then you should be able to access History & claim your prize! 2 prims, mod/copy.

Sometimes you will be asked to do something specific… other times you will be given liberal freedoms to do your thing.

Must have a proven record of activity & genuine love for SL. Your avatar must be at least 1 SLyear old with payment info on file & a complete, informative profile.

Must be reasonably, easily-available. To me, that means that I have a reliable way to contact you & you respond within a day or 2 on average, even if it is to let me know you can’t do something! The important traits I am looking for are dependability & a laid-back attitude.

We Gotz Fishing!

7Seas Fishing @Twomoons Island

Come check out the newly remodeled Twomoons Island. In the center near where you land is a lake for fishing! Currently you can fish to claim official 7Seas prizes, like wearable pet fish, annnnd win free stuff from Rue! There are also a few things floating around to catch from MIASNOW.

If you have never fished in SL… don’t worry, it’s easy! All you need is a 7Seas fishing rod & some bait. Both of those can be purchased from the vendor on the side of the dock. The prices are reasonable (& not set by me). Then all you do is attach a rod, /1 cast, & relax! 25% chance of catching a Rue gift!

I won the fish, eyepatch, & horn/tentacles by Rue while I was leveling up. Plus you get plenty of common fish which are transferrable, so you can seem crazy generous to friends who don’t know about 7Seas fishing. Let’s face it, a wearable pet fish that swims around in mid-air is a smile-maker for just about anyone!

Rambling Helloo & a Call for Blaggards, err BLOGGERS!

…Ohhh yikes, i made an impulsive, expensive purchase today @ Zooby’s… couldn’t help myself. But, now i’m a cat & never felt more at home in SL! I just knew it was going to be a good day, because i woke up with the sun shining on my behind. Seriously. There was a single ray of light beaming through the window down onto my butt!

So, also… i was wondering if anyone would like to blog my new Polar Bear Celebration decor in the Midnight Mania? if so, please send me a notecard inworld with your full name so i can copy paste it, & your blog addy. i will choose some to send the bear plus some other goodies to.

Polar Celebration Decor, Midnight Mania!

New & currently only available through the Midnight Mania display set up in MIASNOW Main Store. Target is 99, so get some friends to slap it too!

Your prize is this adorable, 13-prim, blinky-eye polar bear holding a star light in his sweet lil paws.

He sits upon a wedge of slick ice, in the middle of glittery snowy grass. Particles slowly rise from the ice, the star, & the grass. You can touch each part individually to turn them all on/off, or just one at a time, etc. Your option.

You may also modify & copy the prims, so you can resize it, play with colors, glow, etc to your liking. This means you can rez extras & use the parts to plant more grass or ice… a hidden bonus for you! The star texture is animated & flashes at a moderate speed. If the speed bothers you, edit that one prim & lower the opacity to make the animation less visible. You will not be able to alter any scripts inside.
